Al-Qadsiah Misses Otávio Against Al-Nassr in the Saudi League
Al-Qadsiah Club will be without the services of Portuguese player Otávio Monteiro in tomorrow's match against Al-Nassr, scheduled as part of the 14th round of the Saudi Professional League, due to an injury that has ruled him out of the coach's plans.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Brendan Rodgers, the head coach of Al-Qadsiah Club, has begun studying available alternatives to compensate for the absence of Otávio, given the importance of the upcoming match against Al-Nassr, one of the direct competitors for the top positions.
The newspaper pointed out that Rodgers is likely to field Hussein Al-Qahtani in midfield, especially with Musab Al-Juwair also absent from the match due to his participation with the Saudi Arabia U23 national team in the AFC Asian Cup.
Al-Qadisiyah occupies fifth place in the Saudi Professional League standings with 24 points, while Al-Nassr is in second place with 31 points, giving the match a highly competitive edge between the two teams.
