Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, head coach of Al Hilal, commented on the ongoing debate regarding the future of striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan, amid rumors linking him to a transfer to Al-Nassr during the current winter transfer window.

Inzaghi explained, after the match against Damac, that all Al-Hilal players hold great importance within the team, noting that Al-Hamdan continues to train with complete professionalism.

The Italian coach confirmed his awareness that Al-Hamdan is entering a negotiation phase, explaining that the player is performing well and is committed to his work, and that the management of Al Hilal Club's company will handle the final decision regarding his future.

Inzaghi added that the Hamdan file is under discussion between the player and the club management, affirming his confidence in the decisions that the management will make in the best interest of the team.

Recent media reports indicated that Abdullah Al-Hamdan is close to transferring to Al-Nassr, after he declined the renewal offer presented by Al-Hilal in the recent period.

Inzaghi's statements came after Al Hilal's 2-0 victory over Damac in the 13th round of the Saudi Roshn League, with the two goals scored by Darwin Núñez and Marcos Leonardo.

With this victory, Al Hilal climbed to the top of the Saudi Roshn League standings with 32 points, while Al Nassr dropped to second place, intensifying the competition for the top spot as the season enters a decisive phase.
