Al-Gharafa Coach: The Match Against Al-Zawraa is Difficult and We Aim for a Positive Result
Al-Gharafa team coach Haider Ubaid confirmed in the press conference prior to his team's match against Al-Zawraa within the Iraqi Stars League competition for the tenth round, in the match that will be held at Al-Zawraa Stadium in the capital, Baghdad.
Ubaid said: "Crowd-filled matches like this raise the players' motivation and give them additional drive to perform their best on the field. We know the strength of Al-Zawraa and the distinguished players they have, so we will enter the match with full focus."
He added: "Our goal in tomorrow's match is to achieve a positive result and compensate for the previous results that we were not satisfied with. The team is going through somewhat difficult circumstances due to the absence of some important players, such as the captain Al-Qaysar Hassan Dakhel, who is absent due to suspension, in addition to Star Jabbar who is injured, but we will make up for these absences with precise tactics and high fighting spirit."
Ubaid continued: "We are ready for the match, and we have carefully followed all that Al-Zawraa presented in their previous matches, and we will work to exploit any opportunity to score goals and maintain the team's balance defensively and offensively."
Ubaid concluded his speech by saying: "The fans will be an important part of this confrontation, and their presence in the stadium will be a great motivation for the players to deliver a strong and honorable match for the team."
