Hani Said, the sporting director of Pyramids Club, confirmed that the team is not currently considering signing the Palestinian player Wissam Abu Ali, the former Al Ahly star.
Hani Saeed added on the program "Ya Masa' Al Anwar" on MBC Masr 2 channel: "We are not considering signing Wissam Abu Ali, while there was talk about Hamdy Fathy, but the deal has not been finalized yet and we do not know what the coming days will bring."
He added: "Vestón Mayeli's contract expires at the end of the current season, and we are still negotiating with him for renewal, despite him having offers from abroad. However, Pyramids has a set budget for signings and salaries, and we will not match the figures offered to him from outside. We hope he continues with us in the coming period."
Pyramids is currently preparing to face their counterpart Modern Sport tomorrow, Sunday, as part of the fifth round of the Egypt Capital Cup.
