Ohod Stops Hawsawi's Transfer Deal to Top Roshn League Clubs
Officials from the Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad clubs have intensified their efforts in recent days to persuade Ohod Club to relinquish its 40% share from the sale of Murad Hawsawi, the Al-Khaleej midfielder.
These pressures come as part of the three clubs' efforts to facilitate the signing of Murad Hawsawi, who has become a prominent target during the current winter transfer window.
According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad offered financial compensation and additional benefits, along with future agreements, in exchange for Ohod Club relinquishing its share of the deal.
The newspaper pointed out that the management of Al-Khaleej Club is awaiting the arrival of official offers from Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad, in order to review and compare them to select the most suitable offer both technically and financially.
The report confirmed that the Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad administrations sent two official letters to the Al-Khaleej administration, requesting information about the financial compensation required to complete the Morad Hawsawi transfer during the winter transfer window.
On the other hand, Al Hilal Club has already made a financial offer, but Al Khaleej's management considered it lower than the value that matches the player's capabilities and importance to the team.
The newspaper concluded by emphasizing that the clause granting Ohod Club 40% of the sale value represents the biggest obstacle, especially since Murad Hawsawi is under contract with Al-Khaleej until 2029 after his transfer from Ohod in 2024.
