Scottish club Celtic announced today the official signing of Mexican international Julián Araujo from English club Bournemouth on loan until the end of the current season.

Araujo plays as a right-back, is 23 years old, and is considered one of the players who possess speed and physical strength, with the ability to be deployed in multiple defensive positions when needed.

The player first emerged at the start of his professional career with the American club Los Angeles Galaxy, before moving to Spain's Barcelona for a brief stint. He then had an experience in the English Premier League with Bournemouth, and is now embarking on a new chapter in his career with Celtic.

Araujo is expected to join the team's training sessions in the coming days, in preparation for participating in the local and continental competitions for the remainder of the season.
