Castellanos to West Ham
Friday 02-01-2026
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that West Ham United has reached a final agreement to sign Argentine Valentin Castellanos, Lazio's striker, during the current transfer window.

According to Romano, the deal will cost West Ham's treasury up to 29 million euros, after Lazio agreed to sell the player, as the English club aims to strengthen its attacking line with a ready element to compete in the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano pointed out that all contractual details between the three parties have been agreed upon, and only some formal procedures remain before the official announcement, allowing Castellanos to start a new experience in the Premier League.

The Argentine striker is expected to be a strong addition to West Ham's attack, given his scoring abilities and European experience, at a time when the London club seeks to reinforce its squad and compete strongly during the current season.
