No Surprises.. Best of December in Roshn League

On Thursday evening, the Saudi Professional League announced the winners of the Best Awards for the Roshn League for the month of December, covering rounds 8, 9, 11, and 12 of the competition.

Italian coach Simone Inzaghi of Al Hilal continued his strong presence by retaining the Best Coach award for the month of December, after achieving a perfect record in four consecutive league matches.

Inzaghi led Al Hilal to consecutive victories against Al Najma, Al Fateh, Al Khaleej, and Al Khulood, confirming his technical superiority and maintaining a strong challenge for the top spot in the Roshn Saudi League.

Dutch player Georginio Wijnaldum, the star midfielder of Al-Ittifaq, won the Best Player award for December, following the outstanding performances he delivered with his team during last month's matches.

Wijnaldum tops the list of goal contributions in the last four rounds with 6 contributions, tied with Portuguese player João Félix of Al-Nassr. He also shares the top scorer position with Cristiano Ronaldo, both having scored five goals.

Brazilian goalkeeper Kevin, of Damac, won the Best Goalkeeper award for December, while Abdulaziz Al-Alowa, a player for Al-Kholood, was named Best Promising Player of the Month for the second consecutive time.

Al-Nassr Club continues to lead the Roshn Saudi League standings with 31 points after 11 rounds, ahead by just two points over Al-Hilal, intensifying the battle for the top spot as the new year begins.
