Al-Shabab team stumbled on their home ground after suffering a thrilling loss to their guest Al-Qadisiyah with a score of three goals to two, in a match that brought the two teams together on Wednesday evening within the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Shabab hosted their counterpart Al-Qadisiyah at their stadium in a match held for the twelfth round of the Saudi League competitions, witnessing fast events and clear fluctuations in the score.

Al-Qadisiyah opened the scoring early through their Italian striker Matteo Retegui, who took advantage of a distinguished pass from Julian Quiñones and placed the ball in the net at the 12th minute.

Al-Qadisiyah extended the lead after Julian Quiñones himself succeeded in scoring the second goal from a penalty kick, executed steadily in the 32nd minute, reinforcing his team's advantage.

Nahitan Nández deepened Al-Shabab's wounds by scoring Al-Qadisiyah's third goal with a powerful shot inside the area in the 41st minute, ending the first half with a comfortable lead for the visitors.

Al-Shabab tried to come back in the second half, reducing the deficit through Josh Branshile in the 61st minute, before Yannick Carrasco added the second goal in the 92nd minute without changing the result.

Al-Qadisiyah solidified their position in the standings after raising their points to 21 in fifth place, while Al-Shabab's points remained at 8 in fifteenth place.
