The newspaper explained that Barcelona's striker ended the year as a key player in the forward position, ahead of Robert Lewandowski, after playing a major role in the team's victories in the La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup titles. Additionally, he secured his place in the Spanish national team and ensured his participation in the upcoming World Cup.

According to Sport newspaper, Ferran Torres's 27 goals in 2025 were distributed as follows: 18 goals in La Liga, 6 goals in the Copa del Rey, and 3 goals in the UEFA Champions League. One of his most notable goals was the decisive one in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, which took the match into extra time before Barcelona secured the victory. Ferran was awarded the Best Player of the Final and the top scorer of the tournament.

The newspaper added that Torres topped the list of Spanish top scorers in 2025, ahead of Samuel Ajewua with 23 goals and Lamin Yamal who scored 21 goals, while Mikel Oyarzabal and Marco Asensio followed them with 17 goals each.

The report indicated that these numbers allowed Ferran Torres to enter the list of the top 50 scorers in Barcelona's history, having raised his tally to 57 goals since joining in January 2022.
