Real Madrid Recovers Its Stars Before Facing Mallorca
Thursday 02-04-2026
Real Madrid has regained several of its prominent stars following the international break, boosting its chances of continuing to pressure Barcelona in the Spanish league race, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo'.

The team's training saw the return of Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, who participated normally with his teammates, along with Camavinga and Tchouameni, while Antonio Rudiger, Brahim Diaz, Dean Housen, and Gonzalo underwent gym training after their recent international participations.

Dani Ceballos also joined the group training, while Eder Militao is expected to return to the squad after a four-month absence due to injury, as he seeks to regain his form in the crucial stage of the season.

On the other hand, the team still suffers from significant absences, most notably Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo, and Thibaut Courtois. However, the return of Valverde, Mastantonio, Vinicius Junior, and Jude Bellingham to training gives the coaching staff a strong boost before the upcoming phase.

Real Madrid is preparing to face Real Mallorca on Saturday, in a match that gives the team the opportunity to narrow the gap with Barcelona, especially as the Catalan team is affected by Raphinha's injury, which will sideline him for five weeks.

The report confirmed that Real Madrid's result in this encounter could put them just one point behind Barcelona, with eight rounds remaining in the season, increasing the importance of each point in the title race.

Regarding the fixture schedule, it seems that Real Madrid does not face many tough challenges away from home, except for the anticipated Camp Nou clash on May 10, where the team aims to approach it while being in control of its destiny.
