Officials of Al-Ola Club in Saudi Arabia have finalized their decision regarding the future of goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais, following rumors linking him to a transfer to Al-Shabab Club during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The management of Al-Ola Club has categorically rejected the idea of Mohammed Al-Owais moving to Al-Shabab on a loan deal in January, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Yaum."

This decision closed the door for the youth team management, which was seeking to strengthen the goalkeeper position during the winter transfer window, amid the team's declining results this season.

Mohammed Al-Owais joined Al-Ola Club during the last summer transfer window, following the end of his stint with Al-Hilal, marking the beginning of a new phase in his football career.

Al-Owais's roots go back to Al-Shabab Club, where he was promoted to the first team in the 2014-2015 season, before later transferring to Al-Ahli in the 2017-2018 season.

Al-Shabab Club has been struggling with inconsistent results this season, currently sitting in 13th place in the Roshn Saudi League standings with only 8 points.

The youth team fell in the eleventh round against Al-Ittihad, losing 2-0, which increased the technical and administrative pressures within the club ahead of the resumption of competitions.
