A Fierce Battle Between Al Nassr and Al Hilal to Snatch Zenit's Star
Monday 29-12-2025
Al Hilal Saudi Club is entering a strong three-way competition with Al Nassr and Al Ittihad to secure the services of Brazilian Gerson da Silva, the midfielder of Russia's Zenit Saint Petersburg, in the upcoming period.

Turkish journalist Akram Konur, who specializes in transfer market news, revealed that the clubs Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad are interested in signing Gerson, who is also being closely followed by several prominent Brazilian clubs.

Konur clarified on his official Instagram account that the Russian club Zenit has set its financial demands for selling the player and has begun discussing the offers submitted by interested parties.

Zenit stipulated that Cruzeiro must pay 15 million euros, in addition to including the player Jonathas Jesus in the deal, in order to approve Gerson's transfer to their team.

The Russian club has demanded 25 million euros in cash from Palmeiras, with no exchange deals, to allow the Brazilian midfielder to leave during the upcoming transfer window.

Gerson, 28 years old, joined Zenit in 2022 from Flamengo, signing a contract until 2027, with a market value of approximately 18 million euros.

The Brazilian player has previously played for Fluminense, Flamengo, Roma, Fiorentina, and Olympique Marseille, and has appeared in 15 matches for Zenit, scoring two goals.
