Al-Zawraa player and defender Maytham Jabbar confirmed his team's readiness to face Al-Mina'a in the eighth round of the Iraqi Stars League, in the match that will be held at Al-Zawraa Stadium tomorrow.

Maytham Jabbar said: "We have great respect for Al-Mina'a team, as they are offering modern and distinctive football this season, and they have players capable of making a difference, but on the other hand, we are ready for the confrontation and we know what we have to do on the field."

He added: "The victory match is now in the past, and we benefited from it as players both technically and mentally, and we are well aware of the mistakes we made and we will work to avoid repeating them in the upcoming matches."

Jabbar continued: "Our goal in every match is clear, which is to deliver a good performance and achieve victory, especially since the team has a distinguished group of players capable of making an impact at any time."

He pointed out: "Returning to our stadium at this time is very important, and the presence of Al-Zawraa fans gives us a great moral boost, as they are always our true support inside and outside the field."
