Al-Nassr Club of Saudi Arabia is close to finalizing a new deal, as they are just one step away from officially announcing the signing of Haider Abdulkarim, the player from Iraq's Al-Zawraa.

Al-Zawraa Club's management has reached a final agreement to sell the contract of Haider Abdulkarim, born in 2004, to Al-Nasr Club for $500,000, while retaining 15% of the value of any future transfer of the player.

Okaz newspaper revealed that the player is expected to arrive in Riyadh this Tuesday evening to undergo routine medical examinations before signing the official contract.

Haider Abdulkarim is scheduled to sign a two-season contract with Al-Nassr Club, marking the start of his professional career in the Saudi Roshn League in the upcoming period.

There is a prevailing approach within Al-Nassr's management to register the player in the under-21 team roster without making any changes to the two foreign players, Wesley and Angelo, in accordance with the vision of the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus.

Abdulkarim, 21 years old, is considered one of the rising talents in Iraqi football, having delivered impressive performances with Al-Zawraa during the current season.

The young midfielder played 12 matches with Al-Zawraa this season, including 9 games in the Iraqi Premier League and 3 matches in the AFC Champions League, successfully scoring two goals.
