Mostafa Fawzi: I Scored the Toughest Two Goals of My Career Against Al Ahly
Mostafa Fawzi, a star player of the Telecom Egypt team, spoke about his team's victory over Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup.
Al Ahly was eliminated from the Egypt Cup after losing 2-1 to Telecom Egypt in the Round of 32.
Fawzi said in statements to "On Sport" channel: "Thank God for the two goals and the victory. The two goals I scored against Al Ahly are the toughest goals in my football career because I am one of Al Ahly’s own, having grown up and trained in their ranks for a full nine years."
Fawzi, who recently returned from a long injury, added: "I'm not a young player, and I've faced many difficult situations in my career, but I worked very hard recently to come back and stand on my feet again. God has rewarded my efforts with these two goals."
He continued: "I used to ask the coach for more playing time during the match, and after the game, he told me that I was asking for longer minutes. But when I got the opportunity at the right time, I scored two goals. My goal now is to return to the Premier League again with Telecom Egypt."
