Al-Ittihad Objects to Al-Rass Stadium
Riyadh Al-Muzher, the official spokesperson for Al-Ittihad Club, announced that the club's management will file an official objection to holding the team's match against Al-Kholood in the semi-final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup at Al-Hazm Club Stadium in Al-Rass Governorate.
It was decided that the match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Kholood will be held on Monday, March 16th, at 10:00 PM, at Al-Hazem Stadium.
Al-Muzhir explained during his appearance on the program "Action with Walid" that Al-Ittihad Club's objection stems from a desire to preserve the historical significance and great prestige of the King's Cup tournament. He emphasized that the final stages should be held in stadiums befitting the stature of the competition, especially since the capacity of Al-Hazem Stadium does not match the importance of the event.
He added:
"The timing of the match is very difficult, as it will take place in the late days of Ramadan, which will increase the hardship for both the fans and the players. Additionally, the stadium lacks many essential logistical services required before major matches, and the television broadcast will not be as satisfactory as hoped."
