A recent report revealed the list of the most-watched football leagues in the world for 2025, showing the continued dominance of the major European leagues at the forefront of the global football scene, alongside a notable presence of some leagues outside the Old Continent.

The English Premier League came in first as the most-watched league worldwide, maintaining its position thanks to extensive media coverage and strong competition. Meanwhile, the Spanish league (La Liga) ranked second, supported by the popularity of its historic clubs and star players.

The German Bundesliga ranked third, followed by the Italian Serie A in fourth place, while the French Ligue 1 came in fifth, benefiting from the growing global interest.

In sixth place was the American league, a clear indicator of its growing global popularity, especially with the presence of Lionel Messi. The Brazilian league came in seventh, followed by the Mexican league in eighth place.

The Portuguese league ranked ninth, while the Dutch league finished last in tenth place.
