The website 'Fichajes' revealed that English club Liverpool has submitted an official offer worth 20 million euros to sign Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović, Juventus player, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to the source, Liverpool's move came due to the long absence of striker Alexander Isak because of injury, which prompted the club's management to look for a high-level forward capable of filling the attacking gap in the second half of the season.

The report pointed out that Vlahović's situation with Juventus has become complicated, especially since his contract expires at the end of the current season, and there are no indications of reaching an agreement to renew it under the proposed terms, making the option of selling him in January strongly considered to avoid losing him for free in the summer.

The same source explained that the value of the offer submitted by Liverpool is less than the true market value of the Serbian striker, but it aligns with his contractual situation, while the English club appears ready to meet his financial demands.

The report added that Liverpool sees Vlahović as a suitable striker due to his physical strength and ability to play under pressure, in addition to his desire to experience a new challenge in the English Premier League, where he is offered a key role from the start.
