Algerian international Ryan Aït Nouri revealed a key tactical aspect employed by national coach Vladimir Petković during the Algerian team's preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco, which involves a strong focus on set pieces as one of the decisive factors.

Aït Nouri said in a statement to the official channel of the Algerian Football Federation on the YouTube platform that the coaching staff places great importance on set pieces alongside other tactical aspects, explaining: "We focus a lot on set pieces in addition to the rest of the tactical work."

Najm Al-Khudr added, "Everything is going well here, and the preparations are proceeding according to the plans set by the coaching staff," referring to the positive atmosphere within the camp ahead of the start of the continental competition.

Set pieces have become a crucial element in modern football, as demonstrated by the English club Arsenal last season, when they scored 12 out of 18 goals using this weapon, reflecting its effectiveness in deciding major matches.
