Paris Saint-Germain Announces the Nature of Injuries to the Team's Trio

Paris Saint-Germain has announced that their goalkeeper Matvei Savonov sustained a fracture in his left hand following his participation in the 2025 Intercontinental Cup.

The club clarified on its official website that Savonov was injured during the match against Flamengo, noting that a new update on his medical condition will be provided within three to four weeks.

The statement added that player Lee Kang-in suffered a muscle injury in his left thigh during the Flamengo match and will be out of the field for several weeks, while Bradley Barcola continues to receive medical care due to muscle strain.

Savonov had led Paris Saint-Germain to win the Intercontinental Cup title after excelling in the penalty shootout.

Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to play the French Cup match tomorrow, Saturday, in the round of 64, after winning the sextuple for the first time in its history under the leadership of Spanish coach Luis Enrique.
