Pedri Wins Barcelona Players' Award
The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that Barcelona player Pedri received the Barcelona Players' Award, which is given annually by the club's players' association in recognition of sportsmanship and fair play throughout the season.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at the club's sports city by the association's president, Juan Manuel Asensi, and the club's board member, Josep Ignasi Màcia.
Also in attendance at the ceremony were the association’s board members, Rafael Zofria and Antonio Olmo, former first-team goalkeeper Cristina Molina, and Carmi Neto, one of the pioneers of the club’s women’s team.
It is worth mentioning that Pedri had previously won this award in the 2022 edition, and it was the first award given by the association in 2010, when player Bojan Krkić was honored.
