Al Ahly Approaches Finalizing Its First Winter Signing
Sports journalist Moheeb Abdelhadi revealed that Al Ahly is close to signing Ahmed Eid, the right-back of Al Masry Port Said.
Moheeb Abdel Hadi said on the program "Al-Laeeb" on MBC Masr channel: "Al Ahly is in the process of signing Ahmed Eid, the right-back of Al Masry Port Said."
He added: "Al-Masry wants to renew the loan of Omar Al-Sa'i as well as acquire the services of Al-Ahly goalkeeper Hamza Alaa."
He continued: "Al Ahly is considering swap deals, and they are expected to be finalized in the coming days."
He concluded: "Ahmed Eid will become a free agent at the end of the season and is allowed to sign with any club starting next January. However, Al Ahly wishes to buy out the remaining period of the player's contract so that he can be a player for the Red Castle starting in January."
