Dutch coach Sarina Wiegman was awarded the 2025 FIFA Best Women's Coach award, setting a new record by winning this award for the fifth time in history.

Wiegman said: "England's victory in the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 is the result of collective effort and continuous hard work, and I am proud of this award that reflects everything we have all contributed on the field."

She added, "This moment is not just mine, but for the entire team that worked hard to achieve this accomplishment."

Wiegman led the England national team to victory in the 2025 Women's Euro Championship after defeating Spain in a thrilling penalty shootout in the final. This made her the first coach to win three titles in the history of the continental women's tournament, having previously won with England in 2022 and the Netherlands in 2019.
