Sports presenter Ahmed Shobeir revealed that Jordanian player Yazan Al-Naimat, star of Al-Arabi Qatar, has entered the radar of Saudi club Al-Ettifaq for a potential signing in the upcoming January transfer window.

Shobeir said via the "X" platform: "Al Ahly reached an agreement with Yazan Al-Naimat and his club, but the surprise was the appearance of the Saudi club Al-Ettifaq in the picture."

Recent reports indicate that Al-Ahli is close to signing Yazan Al-Naimat, a player from Al-Arabi SC of Qatar, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

On another note, press reports indicated that the Saudi Al-Ettifaq team has been in contact with the Qatari Al-Arabi club to discuss the financial details of signing Yazan Al-Naimat next January.

Al-Naimat showed remarkable brilliance in the Arab Cup currently being held in Qatar before suffering an injury in today's Friday match against Iraq in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
