Luis Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain's coach, spoke after the draw against Athletic Bilbao in the sixth round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, affirming that his team was close to deciding the match despite its difficulty.

Enrique said: "It was a very close and tough match, especially in the first half, but I believe we deserved to win. We created very clear chances and could have won this match."

He continued: "We started the match well but with many difficulties, and we thought their pace would drop in the second half. We took advantage of that to create real chances, but in the end, we couldn't win."

The Paris Saint-Germain coach added, speaking about the team's level: "Is this normal for the European champion? With a very difficult start to the season and the absence of several players, I think at our best we have the right mentality. I am confident, but the result is unfortunate because the group is very close, and we will need many points. We must win at least one of the two remaining matches."

Enrique continued talking about Marquinhos' injury, who left at halftime: "We do not know his condition yet, and we have to wait. He requested the substitution during the break," confirming that he is not worried but is awaiting the medical evaluation.
