Achraf Hakimi, the captain of the Moroccan national team, expressed his relative satisfaction with the draw against Brazil in the opening of the 'Atlas Lions' journey in the World Cup, while emphasizing the need to learn from mistakes to improve in upcoming matches.

The Moroccan team delivered a strong performance against one of the top contenders for the title, dominating for long periods of the match that ended in a (1-1) draw, without being able to convert their superiority into a victory.

Hakimi said in media statements after the match: “The game was not easy, we faced a strong team considered one of the top contenders to win the championship.”

The captain of the Moroccan team added: “We drew, but we are happy with the performance, we still need to improve in every match, and this is what we will focus on in the upcoming games.”

Hakimi concluded his statements by emphasizing the importance of continuing to work with the same spirit, saying: “We must continue the journey, maintain the positives, and learn from mistakes.”
