Sudden Change in Saud Abdulhamid's Future
Thursday 11-12-2025
Saud Abdulhamid, the Roma player currently on loan to French club Lens, has sparked a new wave of speculation about his football future after making a surprising move by changing his agent and joining a Saudi marketing company.

There has been increasing talk about the possibility of his return to the Roshn League in the near future, especially after he parted ways with his former agent and signed with a company managed by an honorary member of Al-Nassr, which has directly linked his name to the club.

Saud Abdulhamid will join Roma in the summer of 2024, coming from Al-Hilal. However, he did not get enough playing opportunities there, so he moved on to French club Lens on loan in search of regular playing time.

Sports presenter Waleed Al-Faraj revealed on MBC Action channel that the player's contract with the new company could open the door for a transfer to Al-Nassr, while critic Abdullah Falatah confirmed that the decision to terminate the contract with his agent was due to disputes between the two parties, unrelated to any potential negotiations.

Fellata pointed out that the Saudi national team needs the players to be fully prepared, which makes his return to the Roshn League important, especially given the difficulties he faced in his professional experience abroad and the lack of sufficient playing time.

Saud Abdulhamid, 26 years old, has played only 10 matches for Lens this season, totaling 207 minutes, during which he provided one assist. This supports the view that he should move to a team that offers him more playing time.
