Sunday 07-12-2025
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr, has decided to exclude Senegalese player Sadio Mané from the squad traveling today, Sunday, to the team's training camp in Abu Dhabi, in preparation for the upcoming friendly match against Al Wahda of the UAE.

Mané was excluded in order to give him an appropriate rest period before joining the Senegal national team camp, which is preparing to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Morocco on December 21, according to the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."

Sports journalist Ali Al-Anzi confirmed on the "X" platform that player Saad Al-Nasser is ready to participate in the friendly match, having completed his medical program and now being included in the coaching staff's plans for the game.

On the other hand, striker Mohammed Maran was excluded from Al-Nassr's squad for the match against Al-Wehda due to an illness, which requires him to miss training sessions and the upcoming friendly until he fully recovers.

Abdulmalik Al-Jaber will also not be present in the match against Al-Wehda, as the medical team is waiting for him to fully recover in the near future so he can return to compete for his position in the attacking line.

The match between Al-Nassr and Al Wahda of the UAE will be held at Al Nahyan Stadium next Wednesday at 6:30 PM Mecca time, as part of Al-Nassr's preparations to resume their journey in the Roshn League.
