A source within the Saudi club Al-Shabab reported that the dismissal of coach Al-Jawasel has been under consideration for some time, after the previous management submitted the case to the recruitment committee for review.

The source indicated that the Financial Sustainability Committee views the matter as complex due to limited liquidity, making it financially and administratively difficult to terminate the contract immediately.

The source confirmed that the Ministry of Sports promised the new management to provide all the necessary requirements to ensure the success of the sports system at the club, and initially approved the decision to dismiss the coach.

He explained that dismissing Al-Jawasil would cost the club around 25 million euros, which prompted the committee to consider negotiated solutions to reduce the financial burden, ensuring the contract is terminated amicably.

He added that there is a clear trend within the committee to negotiate with the coach to sign a financial settlement, as a step towards ending the contractual relationship without entering into legal or financial conflict.

This decision comes as part of the new management's efforts to correct the team's course and achieve technical and financial stability, with a focus on supporting the team with players and coaches capable of raising the club's overall performance level.
