Inter Miami qualified for the US Open Cup final after defeating New York City 5-1 in the Eastern Conference final of the American tournament.

Inter Miami scored two goals through Tadeo Allende in the 14th and 23rd minutes, while New York City reduced the deficit with a goal by Justin Hack in the 37th minute.

In the 67th minute, Matteo Silvetti scored the third goal for Inter Miami, then Tylasco Segovia scored the fourth in the 83rd minute, and Tadeo Allende returned to score the fifth goal for Inter Miami in the 89th minute.

Inter Miami won the Eastern Conference title (an unofficial championship) for the first time in its history.

It is noteworthy that Inter Miami will face Vancouver Whitecaps in the US Open Cup final (the official championship), who qualified after a win over San Diego in the Western Conference final.
