Brazilian defender Marquinhos spoke after playing his 500th match for Paris Saint-Germain, expressing his happiness with the victory over Tottenham and emphasizing the team's strong character during the game.

Marquinhos said: "A very nice way to celebrate. I wished we hadn’t conceded any goals, as a defender, that would have made it a perfect evening. But anyway, we won, and I think the team was very strong against Tottenham, who came well prepared to face us and exploit our small weaknesses. I believe the team was solid throughout the match, and it was a special evening for me. We talked about it in the locker room, and I really wanted to win so we could celebrate properly now."

The Brazilian defender added: "The spirit was there, and the team was present. We know that on Champions League nights, you always have to give 100%, and we did just that."
