The newspaper "Al-Masry Al-Youm" reported that Helmy Tolan, the head coach of Egypt's second national team participating in the Arab Cup, decided to replace Mostafa Shalaby, who is registered on the Pharaohs' roster, with Mohamed Massad, a player from Modern Sport Club.
The newspaper added that Mustafa Shalaby was excluded after medical reports confirmed that it would be difficult for him to participate in the matches due to his injury.
The Arab Cup tournament will be held from December 1 to 18 in Qatar.
The training camp of the second national team is witnessing the absence of Al Ahly and Zamalek players due to their commitments with their clubs in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
