Press reports revealed the duration of Nabil Emad Donga's absence, the midfielder of Zamalek, after he sustained a serious injury during the team's match against Zesco United of Zambia, which ended with a 1-0 victory for the White Knights in the Confederation Cup.

According to the website "Kora Plus," medical examinations confirmed that Donga suffered a sprain in the medial ligament of the knee, requiring him to be absent for a period ranging between 4 and 6 weeks, which puts his participation with the Egyptian national team in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in serious doubt.

The report indicated that the player will undergo an intensive therapeutic and rehabilitation program under the supervision of Zamalek's medical staff, in an attempt to prepare him before the start of the tournament scheduled to be held in Morocco at the end of next December.

Donga had left the field during the second half affected by the injury, amid a state of concern within Zamalek's technical and medical teams, especially given the importance of the player in the main lineup during the upcoming period.
