Al-Shabab Settles the Debate: Abdulrazak Hamdallah's Participation Fully Legal
Al-Shabab Saudi Club settled the controversy surrounding the legality of the Moroccan striker Abdulrazak Hamdallah's participation with the team this season, following rumors indicating restrictions preventing him from appearing with "Al-Laith".
Turki Al-Ghamdi, the club's official spokesperson, confirmed in statements reported by the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah that all circulating claims about the player's participation being illegal are incorrect. He emphasized that Hamdallah does not suffer from any legal issues, and his absence in recent matches is solely due to a muscle injury he sustained while participating with his national local team against Kuwait in a friendly match on October 14.
Al-Ghamdi explained that the Moroccan star's participation with Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup occurred during an exceptional period approved by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), and it does not affect his eligibility to participate with Al-Shabab in the current season in any way.
It is worth mentioning that Abdulrazak Hamdallah has participated in 3 matches with Al-Shabab this season, during which he has not succeeded in scoring but has provided one assist.
