The competition has intensified between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal clubs to enter serious negotiations with midfielder Murad Hawsawi, the star of Al-Khaleej team, in preparation for signing him during the winter transfer window next January.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" reported that Al-Ittihad has strongly entered the negotiation line, joining Al-Hilal, which had shown early interest in signing the player. This suggests an anticipated deal that will witness a rivalry between the two clubs.

The management of Al-Khaleej Club clarified that the player's desire is the decisive factor in determining his next destination, whether it is a move to Al-Hilal or Al-Ittihad, emphasizing their full respect for Hawsawi's decision.

The newspaper also indicated that the Gulf Club requires 100 million riyals to agree to sell the player's contract during the winter transfer window.

Murad Hawsawi is 24 years old and joined Al-Khaleej in 2024, coming from Ohod Club through a loan deal that later turned into a permanent transfer.
