Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, of Al-Nassr Club, preferred not to risk the three players returning from injury during the scrimmage scheduled for this Sunday evening against the Under-21 team, to avoid any setbacks before the competitions resume.

Jesus made a direct request to the physical trainer to conduct an accurate assessment of the readiness of Ayman Yahya, Saad Al-Nasser, and Saad Haqawi, in order to determine their ability to participate in the drill or continue with their rehabilitation program.

The Portuguese coach is keen to ensure that the trio is 100% physically ready, as he is concerned about the possibility of injuries recurring before the Saudi Roshan League matches resume at the end of this week.

The three players underwent field tests last Friday, supervised by the physical trainer, after completing their treatment programs at the club's clinic in preparation for gradually joining the group training sessions.

Al-Nassr continues its preparations to face the Al-Khaleej team, scheduled for Sunday, November 23, at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, as part of the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Nassr enters the match at the top of the standings with 24 points, while Al-Khaleej is in fifth place with 14 points, which gives the match significant importance in the battle for the top positions.
