The German coach Matthias Jaissle praised his Al-Ahli players after their victory over Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ahli won against Al-Ittihad with a score of 1-0 in a match during the eighth round of the Saudi Professional League.

He said in the press conference after the match: "Today's victory belongs to everyone, and we affirm that Jeddah is always green. It was an incredible match, and I am proud of the entire team, both the players who participated and those who did not."

He added, "I am proud of Ziyad Al-Juhani, who received a red card in the last match, and the players in training have been wonderfully disciplined. I am proud of everyone."

When asked about changing the playing style in the match from high pressing to medium and low pressing, he responded by saying: "We had a clear goal today, and there are many details that some people don't understand. It's not reasonable for me to go into the conference discussing the details of the match."

He continued, "Football is played differently; it is not a game of chess that you can play however you like. The most important thing is to make use of all the available tools, and we do everything we can to achieve victory, even against the teams you consider to be weaker."
