Cooperation Faces Tough Test
Saturday 01-11-2025
The Al-Taawoun team is preparing to face Al-Qadisiyah amid technical challenges following the confirmed absence of the duo Musa Barrow and Roman Fevre from the match on Saturday in the seventh round of the Roshan Saudi League, which has left the coaching staff, led by Brazilian coach Péricles Chamusca, with limited options.

Chamusca is particularly focusing on the trio of Mohammed Al-Kuwaikibi, Sultan Mandash, and Frenchman Angelo Fulgini, to choose two of them to start the match, in an attempt to compensate for the absence of the key duo who formed an important part of the team's offensive strength.

The coach intends to finalize the lineup during a technical meeting held a few hours before the match, where he will reveal the names that will participate in the game and bear the responsibility of maintaining the impressive performance the team has shown in previous rounds.

The Gambian Musa Barrow is absent due to an injury that will keep him off the pitch for nearly three weeks, while Frenchman Fevre needs about two weeks before returning to group training, according to medical estimates.

Al-Taawoun has been affected by Barrow's absence in the last match against Al-Fayha, while Roman Fevre participated in the first six matches of the season, making their replacement a significant challenge for the coaching staff at this stage.

Al-Taawoun has 15 points after six rounds, just one point ahead of Al-Qadisiyah, who has 14 points, which increases the importance of the match and makes it a direct confrontation for the top positions in the Roshan League table.

Al-Taawoun successfully strengthened its squad last summer by signing Roman Fevre on loan from Bournemouth in England and Angelo Fulgini on loan from Lens in France, while Musa Barrow enters his third season with the team, reflecting the strength of the foreign signings in the yellow team.
