Roy Pedro, the new sports director of Al Ahli Saudi Club, commented on the team's draw with Riyadh in the league.

The positive draw with a score of 1-1 concluded the match between Al Ahli and Riyadh, which took place last Thursday evening in the seventh round of the Saudi Professional League.

Pedro stated in a post on Instagram: "Once again, we were not strong enough, we were not good enough, and we were not effective as we should have been. We did not live up to the expectations of our fans."

He added: "The level of performance, focus, and commitment required at this club does not accept anything less than excellence, regardless of any external factors."

He continued: "We must first confront our mistakes and analyze them before we look for excuses elsewhere. This is the only way this wonderful team, made up of talented players, can develop through hard work, honesty, and discipline."
