The match between Paris Saint-Germain and Lorient in the French league, which ended in a 1-1 draw, revealed a new concerning injury for French star Désiré Doi, just days before facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Doi suffered an injury to the hamstring of his right thigh during the second half of the match, collapsing on the field in pain before being carried off on a stretcher, amidst a state of concern within the Parisian squad. The player was seen after the match walking on crutches while leaving for the team bus.

This injury comes less than a week before the encounter with Bayern Munich, and just three matches after his return from a previous injury to his right calf, which had sidelined him for six weeks.

Spanish coach Luis Enrique commented on his player's injury, stating: "It is always unfortunate when injuries occur, and this is a strange injury. I do not know exactly about his condition yet, and I hope it is not serious."

He added: "We have to wait to know the nature of the injury accurately; at the moment, I do not have confirmed information about it."

Doi's injury is another setback for Paris Saint-Germain, which had recently begun to regain its balance following the return of duo Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos from injuries.
