The Saudi Al-Ahli Club has regained the services of Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié ahead of the anticipated match against Riyadh, as part of the seventh round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League, scheduled to take place tomorrow.

The sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Kessié participated in the team's collective training after overcoming the health issue that prevented him from appearing in the last match against Al-Batin in the King’s Cup.

The Ivorian player has shown complete readiness to participate in the Riyadh match, providing a strong boost to the coaching staff led by German Matthias Jaissle ahead of the crucial match in which Al-Ahli seeks to return to the winning path.

In this context, the club's medical and technical staff are awaiting the final test results for Algerian star Riyad Mahrez to determine the possibility of his participation against Riyadh after his partial recovery from a knee injury that sidelined him recently.

Mahrez has undergone light physical training this evening as part of his rehabilitation program, awaiting the final medical assessment that will decide his presence in the match squad.

Al-Ahli occupies the fifth position in the Saudi league standings with 12 points, while Riyadh is in thirteenth place with 6 points, in a match where both sides aim to improve their standings in the competition.
