Wednesday 29-10-2025
Sources have revealed that Danish coach Jes Turup, the head coach of Al-Ahly Club, has decided to part ways with Mustafa Al-Ash, the team's defender, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to the sources, Turup is not convinced of Mustafa Al-Ash's abilities and prefers not to keep him with the team next January.

The sources added that Turup has requested the club's management to sign defenders of a better level to strengthen the backline during the winter transfer market.

The sources pointed out that Mustafa has become the second defender to be excluded from the Danish coach's plans after Ashraf Dari, due to his struggles with recurring injuries in the past period.

According to the sources, Al-Ahly management has included the duo Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, a defender from Bank Al-Ahly, and Ahmed Tarek, a defender from ZED, among their options to strengthen the defense.
