Barcelona Prepares Initial Offer for Crystal Palace Player
Sunday 26-10-2025
The website "Fichajes" revealed that the Spanish club Barcelona is getting ready to make its initial offer to sign Colombian right-back Daniel Munoz, a player for English club Crystal Palace, for an amount close to 30 million euros.

According to the same source, this move comes as part of coach Hans Flick's efforts to strengthen the right flank, supported by sporting director Deco, as the coaching staff sees that the 29-year-old Munoz represents the ideal option due to his balance between defensive and offensive roles.

The report indicated that Barcelona is looking to complete the deal amid the constraints imposed on it due to the 1:1 financial rule, which drives it to act smartly to secure a significant signing without disrupting the budget.

Munoz's contract with Crystal Palace extends until June 2028, giving the English club a strong position in negotiations, especially with interest from other clubs, including Atletico Madrid, in competing for the player's signature.

Munoz is considered one of the standout defenders in the Premier League, having delivered impressive performances with Crystal Palace since his transfer from Belgian club Genk, which has significantly increased his market value.

Barcelona hopes to finalize the deal during the winter transfer window or at the latest by next summer, to bolster its squad with a player who combines physical strength and European experience, providing coach Flick with greater options on the defensive flanks.
