The coach said after the match: "Today's match was excellent for us, as we played three matches in six days, which is a significant physical burden on the players, unlike Al-Ittihad, who had an extra day of rest."

The Italian coach praised the performance of his defender Hassan Tambakti, saying: "Tambakti had a wonderful match, and his collapse after the final whistle was due to exhaustion only, and he did not suffer any injury."

Inzaghi added that the goal was to score more than one goal, but emphasized that the most important thing is to achieve victory against the defending champion, explaining: "The two goals were enough, and the team's performance improved significantly in the second half compared to the first, where we faced some difficulties."

He continued: "Mutaib Al-Harbi had a great performance, Hamad Al-Yami started the match, but I preferred to rest him in the second half because he was not fully fit."
