Frank: Monaco was the best in the second half, and we are progressing step by step towards development

Coach Thomas Frank spoke after his team's draw against Monaco in the Champions League, addressing several points regarding the team's performance, injuries to some players, in addition to his assessment of the intensity level during the match.

Frank commented on Archy Gray's position: "He can play as a right-back, a center-back, or a left-back, but I believe his best position is as a midfielder."

Regarding his team conceding 23 shots during the match, the coach explained: "We played against Aston Villa and conceded only eight shots. If that happens in every match, it would be concerning, but it is not; Monaco shot more than I would have liked, that is true."

Frank spoke about Odobert's injury, saying: "Honestly, I don’t know if he is injured or not. We made the substitution because he felt some pain."

As for the lack of intensity in performance, the coach said: "Good question, I need to think about it a bit more. We played a competitive match against Aston Villa and performed well, and the first half was acceptable in this regard."

Frank concluded his statements by discussing the draw against Monaco, saying: "In the second half, Monaco was better than us, and I salute them for that. Last season we finished the league in seventeenth place and won the Europa League, but we are progressing step by step."
