Zhegrov's Absence Threatened for the Match Against Real Madrid
Juventus winger, Edon Zhegrov, is at risk of missing his team's upcoming match against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening due to a recent thigh injury, as reported by 'Football Italy'.
The Kosovo international has only appeared for 36 minutes in three matches as a substitute since joining Juventus for €18 million from Lille last summer, and he has not started any official match with the club or the national team since December 2024 due to a previous injury to his inner thigh muscles.
Juventus coach, Igor Tudor, confirmed that Zhegrov was injured again during the international break in October, after having played two matches as a substitute for the Kosovo national team for a total of half an hour.
According to the report, Zhegrov is expected to miss the match against Como in Serie A today, Sunday, as well as the Champions League match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu next Wednesday.
