Bayern Munich Clarifies Its Position on Rafael Guerreiro's Departure
Wednesday 15-10-2025
Reports have revealed that German club Bayern Munich does not intend to allow its Portuguese player Rafael Guerreiro to leave during the upcoming winter transfer window, despite his contract nearing its end next summer.

The German magazine "Kicker" reported that the Bavarian club's management considers Guerreiro an important element to enhance depth in the squad, especially in light of the defensive crisis the team is currently facing, confirming that his future will be decided by the end of the season.

This comes at a time when several European clubs, most notably Italian Juventus, have shown interest in signing the 31-year-old left-back, who is in his final season of his current contract with Bayern Munich.

It is worth mentioning that Guerreiro has participated in 7 matches this season across various competitions while wearing Bayern Munich's jersey, during which he scored one goal and provided one assist, and he has often come on as a substitute in Bundesliga matches.
