The Tunisian national football team concluded the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup with an unprecedented historic achievement, qualifying for the finals without conceding a single goal and without suffering any defeats over ten matches.

The Tunisian Football Federation confirmed that Tunisia became the first team in history to secure qualification for the final stage of the World Cup with a clean sheet throughout the qualifiers, a record that reflects the defensive solidity and tactical discipline that characterized the "Eagles of Carthage".

The Tunisian team achieved 9 victories and 1 draw, scoring 22 goals, with zero goals conceded, thus securing the top spot in Group 8 with 28 points, surpassing teams from Namibia, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, Malawi, and São Tomé.

The "Eagles" had secured their ticket to the World Cup since the eighth round, following their valuable victory in Malabo against Equatorial Guinea.
