Media figure Mohamed Al-Sheikhi confirmed that the new CEO of Al Ahly Club, American Mike Golob, has extensive powers that go beyond overseeing football, encompassing various administrative and sports sectors within the club.

Al-Sheikhi explained that Golob will lead the administrative restructuring process aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the work system and developing organizational performance to meet the requirements of the upcoming phase of the club's comprehensive strategy.

He indicated that the new CEO's responsibilities extend to include investment and sports marketing files, in addition to directly overseeing the management of other sports to achieve balance in attention to all sports activities at the club.

He noted that Golob will also work on developing coordination mechanisms between different departments and enhancing internal communication to ensure harmony between administrative and technical work across all sectors of the club.

Golob is considered one of the distinguished administrative competencies, possessing extensive experience in managing major sports institutions, which enhances the aspirations for achieving a qualitative leap in institutional work within Al Ahly.
